A luxury pioneering aircraft has celebrated its 75th anniversary.

Laying the foundation for the development of Concorde, the Bristol Brabazon made its maiden flight from Filton Airfield on 4 September 1949.

The ambitious project promised a new era of luxury passenger travel.
