Russian investigators are probing an overrun incident involving an Antonov An-74TK-100 twinjet in the territory of Krasnoyarsk.
The aircraft had been operating a charter flight from Igarka, to Dikson airport off the north coast, on 14 February.
Fifty-two passengers and six crew members were on board, according to the federal Investigative Committee’s eastern transport department.
No injuries resulted from the occurrence, it adds.
The An-74 has a characteristic design intended to aid short take-off and landing performance. Dikson’s single runway is around 1,500m (4,900ft) in length.
Russian air transport regulator Rosaviatsia states that the aircraft was being operated by a carrier identified as A247.
This carrier conducts scheduled and charter services in co-operation with Utair, and uses a fleet of An-74 and An-24 models.
The airframe involved in the overrun is registered RA-74051, according to Rosaviatsia.
Weather conditions at the time of the event, around 18:00, indicate the presence of snow and temperatures well below freezing.
Rosaviatsia has categorised the occurrence as a “serious aviation incident” and investigation will be carried out by its regional Krasnoyarsk division.
